Job role: Modern Apprentice Early Years Practitioner\nReports to: Nursery Team Leader/Deputy Nursery Manager\n\nResponsible for:\n\nOur Modern Apprentice Early Years Practitioners are responsible for providing a high standard of learning, development and care for our children, which is steeped in the knowledge of attachment theory and early brain development. Supported by our Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager, our team will nurture environments that are emotionally and physically safe.\n\nLullaby Lane Nurseries:\n\nLullaby Lane Nurseries is an Attachment Led Nursery, based in the heart of Milngavie and Lethamhill, specialising in the care of children aged 0-5 years old, the most formative years of a childâs life. There is a wealth of research to indicate the environment a child is exposed to, in the very earliest of years, has an impact on how they develop cognitively, emotionally and socially, which they take with them through into adulthood.\n\nPackage:\n\nSalary Banding: £13,312 - £16,640 per annum\nSubsidised childcare costs\nCompany pension\nEnhanced annual leave package\nIncreased annual leave for continued service\nPaid PVG and SSSC registration and renewals\nUniforms provided\nOn-site parking available\nActively promote work-life balance\nAssist in shaping policy and decision making\nEncouraged and supported to make a difference in the lives of our children\n\n Scottish Living Wage Accredited\n\n Investors in People and Investors and Young People Accredited\n\nWinner of the NMT Nursery Team of the Year Award 2019\n\nSchedule:\n\n7.15am - 6.15pm\n40 hours per week\n4 days per week\n£16,640 per annum\n\nOr\n\n7.15am - 4.15pm / 9.15am - 6.15pm on rotational basis\n32 hours per week\n4 days per week\n£13,312 per annum\n\nNo weekends Key skills:\n\nEffective communication\nSafeguarding\nHealth, safety and security\nDeveloping your own knowledge and practice Qualities and characteristics:\n\nHave a fascination and curiosity in the development of children\nShow a commitment to ensure their professional development remains relevant and up to date through accessing current research on child development\nBe an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic person with the ability to have fun\nDemonstrate compassion, kindness, integrity and authenticity\n\nNo prior experience necessary\nBe willing to undertake, or are currently working towards an HNC/SVQ Level 3 (SCQF Level 7) or equivalent in Childcare
