Company Industrial Turbine Company (UK) Limited Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Not defined A Snapshot of Your DayWithin the Gas Services Distributed business, you will lead and grow a specialist team of Source Inspectors supporting gas turbine core engine and packaging components. Your day will focus on building capability across casting, welding, and forging inspections, setting clear standards, and ensuring consistent, high-quality source inspection services across a global supplier base. You will work closely with suppliers, internal engineering teams, and third-party inspectors to strengthen quality assurance, improve processes, and support safe, reliable delivery across the supply chain.How You’ll Make an Impact
4. Lead, develop, and mentor a specialist team of source inspectors, building technical capability and a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement.
5. Establish and manage a robust third-party inspection network, ensuring clear instructions, consistent reporting, and compliance with Siemens Energy and regulatory standards.
6. Champion a Zero Harm culture, embedding Environment, Health, and Safety principles into all inspection activities.
7. Define and maintain standard operating procedures and reporting frameworks, driving consistency, transparency, and stakeholder alignment.
8. Use digital tools, data, and analytics to improve inspection effectiveness, support risk-based decision making, and optimise inspection strategies.
What You Bring
9. Preferably a Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
10. Significant experience in supplier quality management and source inspection, with strong knowledge of casting, welding, and forging processes.
11. Recognised certifications in NDT and/or welding inspection ( UT, MT, PT, VT Level 2/3, CWI/CWE).
12. Proven experience leading and developing technical teams in a complex manufacturing or engineering environment.
13. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence suppliers and internal teams
14. Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally, with a hybrid working model (typically three days on site when not travelling).
