Our client, the best motor trade employer in the North West, is looking to recruit an experienced Group F&I Compliance Manager
As a Group F&I Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our automotive finance operations comply with all relevant regulations and internal policies. You will play a critical role in mitigating risks associated with finance operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity within the organization.
Responsibilities:
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all automotive finance activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
6. Policy Development: Develop and implement finance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
7. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
8. Training and Education: Provide training to finance department staff on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
9. Monitoring and Auditing: Establish monitoring and auditing processes to assess compliance with finance regulations and internal policies and take corrective action as necessary.
10. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies, and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
11. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including legal, risk management, and operations, to address compliance issues and develop effective solutions.
12. Stay Updated: Stay abreast of changes in automotive finance regulations, industry trends, and emerging risks, and update policies and procedures accordingly.
13. Investigations: Conduct internal investigations into compliance breaches, allegations of misconduct, or other related matters, and recommend appropriate actions.
14. Ethical Standards: Promote a culture of ethical behaviour and integrity within the finance department and across the organization.
Qualifications:
15. Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive finance, compliance, or a related field, with a strong understanding of finance regulations and industry best practices.
16. Excellent knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regulations.
17. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
19. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
20. Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity.
