HGV Class 1 Drivers – Flatbed Work

We’re looking for reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 drivers to join a friendly team in the Ilkeston area. In this role you will be working with reputable, global logistics company on a large contract to deliver to customers around the UK on a flatbed truck. In this role you will make on average 4 drops per day, however dependent on run this could be as little as 1 and as many as 8. NO HANDBALL required.
Hours of work:
1. Monday to Friday
2. Start times: between 04:00 – 06:00 dependent on run
3. 1-3 nights out per week (£26.20 night out allowance)
4. Genuine temp to perm opportunity after qualifying time period.
5. Overtime paid after 51.75 hours (unpaid breaks)
What We’re Looking For:
6. Ideally experienced drivers, but we will consider newly qualified Class 1 drivers with relevant experience on Class 2.
7. Valid UK Diving licence with CE, CPC and Tacho .
8. No more than 6 points (no DD,DR or IN endorsements).
9. A professional, safety-focused approach.
10. Good communication skills.
11. Someone looking for long term opportunity with an established company.
