CE&I Senior Design Engineer Altrad are currently seeking a CE&I Senior Design Engineer to join the Central Engineering team. The successful candidate will provide site-based design front-line support to Commissioning teams, delivering, supporting, and checking detailed designs/changes to meet functional and business needs. Implementation, testing, and commissioning of the designs are undertaken by other dedicated site-based teams and are outside the scope of this role. Key Deliverables: * Provide site-based front-line design support to Commissioning teams. * Deliver, support the delivery of others, and check detailed designs/changes for accuracy and compliance with functional requirements. * Ensure all designs/changes adhere to relevant external and company-specific engineering standards. * Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams on site and in the design office. * Support early career engineers through guidance and mentoring. * Effectively communicate design information to team members and other disciplines, both verbally and in writing. * Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement within design work. * Attend and contribute to meetings on-site, at the West Cumbria design office, and at Hinton House, Warrington, as required. Key requirements: * Academic Qualification: Minimum HND. * Professional Qualification: Minimum Incorporated Engineer. * Security Clearance: SC * Minimum 5 years as a CE&I Senior Design Engineer providing site-based front-line design support, delivering, supporting, and checking detailed designs/changes. * Working understanding of external standards for PES-based Control Systems and Process Instruments. * Strong problem-solving skills, with effective verbal and written communication. * Working understanding of SL Engineering Standards for PES-based Control Systems and Process Instruments is desirable.
