Would you like to work as part of a knowledgeable team who are passionate about developing their staff? If so, we are looking to recruit a Finance Apprentice to work in our busy Finance Team based in Malvern. This is a varied role which offers great opportunity for on-the-job experience within the Finance Team and to undertake a fully funded AAT qualification, including day release to attend college. The role will support the day-to-day operation of the financial systems for Malvern Hills District and Worcester City Councils.About you The successful candidate will: 5 GCSEs to include English and Maths at grade 4 or above Experience of IT packages including Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and TeamsGood communication skillsAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to plan, prioritise and organise own workload to meet required deadlinesAbility to work under pressure and undertake a number of different tasks at the same timeWillingness to work as part of a teamFlexible and adaptableCreative approach to problem solvingEnthusiastic and proactiveWillingness to learn and get involved What we can offerOur staff are at the heart of what we do and are key to ensuring we deliver Our Council Plan (attached) to make a positive difference to our communities, our economy and our environment.
