Job Title : SHE Advisor Base Location : 1 x Position based from Slough to cover the Wessex region 1 x Position based in the South West of England Both roles will require travel across your region to visit sites and offices as needed. Could you be our next SHE Advisor to join the team and drive this success forwards? What will I be doing in this role? We’re looking for a proactive SHE Advisor to help maintain the highest health, safety, and environmental standards across our projects. You’ll assess risks, develop policies, and support teams to work safely and efficiently. Join us and play a key role in keeping our people and sites safe every day. In a typical day, you could expect to be; Monitoring SHE performance at Regional and Depot level. Reporting to Operational Management on good performance / best practice as well as deficiencies and areas of weakness identified. Provision of key support with regards to the development and implementation of improvement actions, initiatives, and plans. Assisting in the management of the company’s environmental responsibilities in compliance with environmental requirements. Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and sharing lessons learned. Reviewing documentation for appropriate health & safety content (RAMS, CPPs etc). ,Visiting our sites and advising site management on day-to-day health & safety matters. Ensuring compliance with UK Health & Safety Legislation/CDM Regs/Client’s standards. Promoting and encouraging best practice. Delivering toolbox talks on health, safety and wellbeing themes. Health and wellbeing promotional campaigns. What do I need to be successful in the role? Passionate about the Health & Safety Profession Experience, knowledge and understanding of the application of SHE management principles and best practice within an operational environment. Proven track record of engaging effectively with stakeholders in SHE matters and requirements. Experience of developing and improving processes, and driving SHE performance You come from a Utilities, Electrical engineering or a DNO background. Willingness to challenge unsatisfactory conditions or breaches. Excellent IT skills with experience in using Teams, Excel and Databases. You will have a professional approach, be self-organised and motivated to positively influence stakeholders.
