The Role We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with a specialism in B2B marketing and some experience with B2C marketing. In this role, you will lead the marketing strategy to support our high-growth commercial business plans within the gas, plumbing, heating and renewable energy sectors. Working closely with the Smart Energy Training leadership team, the Head of Marketing and other key stakeholders you will develop and execute high impact targeted campaigns to engage employers and learners in line with commercial objectives. Whilst we can’t promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be: Strategy, planning, implementation and reporting - Own and deliver Smart Energy Training’s marketing plan and budgets in line with business growth objectives - Segment the B2B and B2C audiences, understand their needs, drivers and pain points to clearly articulate propositions at different points in the customer's journey - Plan, deliver and report on highly targeted marketing campaigns to drive marketing leads, customer conversions and repeat business - Present campaign and marketing performance with clear ROI measures at senior leadership meetings - Identify industry trends, policy changes, and customer needs to tailor marketing approaches. Marketing and Lead Generation - Work with the digital team to drive high-quality leads through SEO, PPC, Paid Social and email marketing campaigns - Identify new marketing initiatives to support non-digital tactics - Create and manage website content and landing pages to support lead generation - Use CRM platforms to analyse, track and report on conversion rates - Use data to optimise campaigns and improve ROI. Stakeholder Engagement and Sales Enablement - Partner with the operational team to support pipeline growth and conversion - Develop sales enablement assets to support business objectives - Build strategic partnerships with industry bodies and associations to strengthen Smart Energy Training’s market position.
