Brief
We are seeking a Mobile BMS Engineer for a well-known Facilities Management organisation based in Birmingham / Telford. The ideal candidate will be experienced, well-rounded, and take pride in their work, with in-depth knowledge of Trend, Tridium Controls/Niagara/Distech/Siemens systems.
The successful candidate must have excellent working knowledge of the electrical industry and a keen interest in becoming a BMS Engineer. Candidates should also hold a City & Guilds / BTEC or NVQ qualification in an electrical field.

Role Responsibilities
1. Carrying out tasks on contracted customer sites, including PFI Schools, PFI Hospitals, Government Estates, and MOD sites.
2. Installing, configuring, and maintaining BMS components such as sensors, controllers, actuators, and software systems.
3. Performing maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium, and Distech BMS systems.
4. Participating in reactive call-out rota (additional financial benefits apply).
5. Providing technical support and advice to clients regarding their BMS systems.
6. Identifying opportunities for improvements and remedial works to enhance system performance.
7. Preparing proposals and quotes for works as needed.
Candidate Requirements
* City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical Engineering.
* Extensive experience with BMS / HVAC systems.
* Knowledge of Trend, Tridium Controls/Niagara, Distech, Siemens systems.
* Good understanding of the electrical industry.
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams.
* Understanding of IT networks.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD.
* Full UK driving license.
* Controls training or experience.
* Experience with electrical fault finding.
* DBS and potentially BPSS vetting.
* Excellent communication and written skills.
