The Chef will provide high-quality catering services to students, staff, and visitors at the academy. Responsibilities include preparation, cooking, and service of hot and cold food and beverages. The postholder will also support students during their experience at the academy.
This role requires working independently to handle all aspects of food preparation and service. The postholder must be comfortable working alone, motivated without direct supervision, and able to collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective running of the catering function.
About you:
* Understanding of working conditions in a busy kitchen environment.
* Formal training in COSHH, HACCP, Food Hygiene, Manual Handling.
* Catering experience in educational settings or events like weddings and buffets.
* Experience supervising a catering team.
* High standards of hygiene.
* Patience, calmness, and ability to work under pressure.
