We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in overseeing day-to-day security operations, ensuring service excellence, and supporting both our clients and front line staff.
Role Overview
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the effective deployment, supervision, and management of security personnel across multiple sites. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and capable of building strong working relationships with both staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security officers across assigned sites.
* Ensure all security staff are fully briefed, trained, and compliant with company policies and industry standards.
* Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and audits to maintain service quality and client satisfaction.
* Support recruitment, on boarding, and scheduling of security personnel.
* Act as the first point of contact for clients, addressing operational concerns and maintaining strong relationships.
* Prepare and submit incident reports, site updates, and performance reviews.
* Ensure compliance with legal, licensing, and health & safety requirements.
* Provide support during emergencies, incidents, and escalations.
* Assist management with continuous improvement of operational processes and service delivery.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the security industry (essential).
* Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor).
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
* Good IT skills (MS Office, scheduling systems, reporting tools).
