This job is for our Bonnyrigg Center.
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead activities effectively.
Duties:
- Experience children in a nurturing and supportive manner
- Plan and deliver engaging activities to support children's learning and development
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and grow
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding children's progress
- Manage daily routines within the nursery setting
- Demonstrate leadership skills in guiding and supporting other staff members
Requirements:
- Hold relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare
- Previous experience working in a nursery or similar setting
- Ability to drive is desirable for potential outings or emergencies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
