Software Developer, Gaming – Location: Stoke/Manchester

As a Software Developer on the iGaming Platform team you will develop, enhance and support the iGaming products to provide industry‑leading customer experiences. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and enhancing our cutting‑edge casino platform, contributing to its ongoing success and innovation. Our primary product is an award‑winning casino where players can enjoy slots, table games, poker and bingo on our website and app. The site receives millions of players per day for games supplied by over 190 providers seamlessly integrated into our casino product.
You will have the opportunity to work with modern technologies while tackling exciting technical challenges and making a tangible impact on the player experience. The role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the ongoing success and innovation of the casino product by owning development from requirement to go‑live.
* Work with modern Golang microservices or React front‑end.
* Collaborate across the Web, API, Tooling, Transactions teams.
* Uphold a culture of expertise and collaboration.
* Support the continuing technical evolution from monolithic C# to a modern architecture of Golang microservices and a React website.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in performant back‑end languages, Golang or C# (preferred).
* Experience with React for front‑end development.
* Understanding of web and API development including SQL.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud (advantageous).
* Interest in or experience with AI in the software development lifecycle.
* Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
* Proactive and innovative approach to development, able to work individually or as part of a wider team.
