SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary School)\n\nLocation: Northampton\nContract Type: Full time, Temp to Perm opportunities available. \nSalary: £90-£100 per day, dependent on experience\nStart Date: September 2025\n\nAbout Us\nWe are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and support pupils with Special Educational Needs withing a mainstream setting. \n\nThe Role\nAs a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:\n-Work closely with classroom teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional challenges).\n-Provide one-to-one and small group support to help children access the curriculum and reach individual targets.\n-Support the development of social and communication skills in a caring and structured way.\n-Monitor pupil progress and contribute to regular reviews and support plans.\n-Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.\n\nThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:\n-Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting (desirable but not essential).\n-A patient, empathetic and flexible approach to supporting learning and behaviour.\n-Strong communication and teamwork skills.\n-A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual pupils.\n-A relevant TA qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) or equivalent experience.\n\nPlease APPLY TODAY with an up to date CV for immediate consideration.
