Each JoJo store is unique, with its own layout and location. Our USP is the relationship we build with our customers, many of them loyal to our brand and to their local store team. You’ll be the face of JoJo, providing a fantastic level of customer care and service that we are renowned for, guiding, informing, and assisting customers in the correct purchase of our wide range of clothing and products. This could be an expectant parent, an excited grandparent, or other friends or family.

Responsibilities
* Assisting customers in a variety of situations, including maternity wear, bra fitting, and product demonstrations (e.g., a baby carrier).
* Preparing Omni-Channel orders and liaising with customers in-store or by phone on Omni-Channel orders.
* Using digital or virtual learning platforms to continuously develop knowledge and retail skills.
* Learning product knowledge to increase sales opportunities and communicating it effectively to customers.
* Staying adaptable and willing to learn new products independently; practicing active listening, empathy, and understanding of customer needs.
* Maintaining a clean, immaculate store environment and appearance.
A typical week would be 10 hours (2 x 5 hour shifts); flexibility is required in line with store requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous retail, customer service and sales experience.
* Competent IT skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
* Ability to learn and retain a high level of product information and communicate this to customers.
* Self-development mentality and curiosity to learn new products.
* Sales ability with active listening, empathy, and understanding of customer needs; no hard-sell techniques.
* Ability to work harmoniously within a small team and respect colleagues.
* Flexibility to work across stores; many stores are open 7 days a week.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to store standards.
