We are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven background in the electrical and M&E sector, focused on commercial projects. This role is key to driving new business, developing long-term client relationships, and producing accurate estimating quotes and pricing for commercial electrical and M&E works.
The successful candidate will have strong commercial awareness, technical understanding, and the ability to confidently manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial electrical and M&E sector
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, main contractors, and key stakeholders
*
Prepare and present accurate estimates, quotations, and pricing for commercial electrical and M&E projects
*
Work closely with estimating, contracts, and operational teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids
*
Attend client meetings, site visits, and tender interviews as required
*
Monitor market activity, competitors, and upcoming opportunities
*
Contribute to overall business growth in line with company objectives
Skills & Experience Required
*
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within the electrical and/or M&E sector
*
Strong understanding of commercial electrical and M&E installations
*
Demonstrable experience in producing accurate costings, estimates, and pricing
*
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
*
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
*
Commercially aware, self-motivated, and results focused
*
Full UK driving licence preferred
