An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Town Planner to join a well-established and highly regarded independent planning consultancy based in Bournemouth.
Our client is a respected planning-led consultancy with a strong presence across the South of England. They specialise in providing clear, commercially focused planning advice across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic land promotion.
The Role
As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in managing and delivering planning applications and appeals, while supporting junior team members and contributing to business development.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
Managing projects from inception through to determination
Providing strategic planning advice to clients
Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants
Supporting and mentoring junior planners
Contributing to client relationship management and new business opportunitiesAbout You
MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
Strong experience within a UK planning consultancy or local authority
Proven track record of managing planning applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Commercial awareness and client-facing confidence
Ability to manage multiple projects effectivelyWhat’s on Offer
