Project Maintenance Engineer Location: North Down Were working with a growing engineering company that designs and builds machinery, automation solutions, and control systems for a mix of manufacturing sectors. Theyre expanding their team and looking for a Project Maintenance Engineer with a strong maintenance background and an interest in design, automation, and taking projects from concept through to commissioning. If youre someone who enjoys getting into the technical detail, solving problems on the fly, and seeing a project right through from drawings to a machine running on site, this one is worth a look. The Role Youll manage the technical delivery of engineering projects everything from customer discussions and design work right through to installation and commissioning on site. Its a nice mix of hands-on engineering, design input, and project ownership. Youll be: Delivering multiple engineering projects to agreed time, cost, and quality targets Working directly with customers to define specs and requirements Designing and developing mechanical and electrical systems such as machinery, automation equipment, and control panels Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, documentation, and schematics Overseeing assembly, installation, and commissioning activities Getting involved in maintenance work, troubleshooting, and breakdown support when needed Making sure all work is carried out in line with safety and regulatory standards What Youll Need Third level qualification in an engineering related field Solid hands-on background in maintenance or engineering roles Experience working with pumps, motors, VSDs, PLCs, control panels, and electrical schematics Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical integration Whats On Offer Competitive salary depending on experience Strong focus on training and long-term career progression A supportive, close-knit engineering team The chance to work on innovative machinery and automation projects across several industries Skills: PPM Maintenance Project Engineering Project Management Electrical Engineering Automation Mechatronic Engineering
