Head of Marketing - Full time - Glasgow HQ

Our marketing team is central to bringing this mission to life at scale across millions of consumers and thousands of businesses.

We are looking for a highly ambitious Head of Marketing to lead our multi-disciplinary marketing team and drive the next phase of growth across our core deal platform, venues and major events businesses. You will work in an entrepreneurial culture alongside our senior leadership and report directly to the CEO.

We think big and are looking for a Head of Marketing to match.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Execution

1. Lead a multidisciplinary team of around 10 specialists across performance, social, content, PR, design and video.

2. Build a high-performance people first culture with clear expectations, high standards and continual learning.

3. Help drive a creative storytelling culture backed by data and insights.

4. Plan and deliver strategies with hands on leadership across the team. We are a highly operational day to day business.

Member and Sales Growth

5. Own the growth strategy for our market leading deals business including member acquisition and retention, funnel optimisation and sales campaigns across the UK.

6. Run hands-on performance marketing and ad development across key social and paid channels.

7. Work alongside our sales director to deliver national promotions, seasonal platform campaigns and new service & city launches.

Major Events & Venues

8. Develop and execute on sale campaigns for our world class major events GlasGLOW, Elfingrove & Drive-In Movies alongside development of future new major event launches.

9. Deliver integrated campaigns spanning paid, social, PR, influencers and content across events and venues.

B2B Strategy and Marketing

10. Develop and implement an annual host marketing programme to the thousands of local businesses we work with.

11. Help develop a host on-boarding strategy through touch points across our CRM and in person events at itison hub (our beautiful head office event and social space).

Creative, Content and Campaign Delivery

12. Work alongside our creative and execution teams to develop and roll out exceptional storytelling and content plans.

13. Understand the creative process through to implementation to help plan and timeline a busy calendar of activity across the business divisions.

Data, Performance & Budget

14. Develop and report on key marketing metrics and dashboards to achieve goals and targets

15. Manage the overall marketing, campaigns and ad budget to deliver maximum ROI.

16. Report insights and recommendations to the CEO and senior team.

We’re looking for someone who has led multidisciplinary marketing teams and individuals within a fast moving consumer-facing business, ideally across digital, brand, performance, social and content.

Ideally from a high growth D2C, e-commerce, media, hospitality, or events background where you’ve owned both strategy and hands on delivery. Experience running integrated campaigns across paid, social, PR and content while driving member or customer growth is essential alongside interrogating data. Previous leadership experience is essential but not necessarily a current head of marketing role.

The Interview Process

If we progress your application, there are three stages to our interview process:

28. An initial interview to get to know you and find out more about your experience.

29. A second interview with practical tasks, a more in-depth interview and opportunity to see the work environments.

30. An opportunity to meet the team.

Interviews will start from w/c 12th January 2026 onwards, and all interviews will be in person at our Glasgow HQ just off George Square.
