Job Purpose
As Accountant you be required to perform all possible accounting duties, as part of your duties and responsibilities, you will take charge of the following:
* Oversee the ongoing maintenance and reconciliation of account payable and receivable.
* Perform payroll and ensure it is accurate, and records are maintained.
* Monthly reconcile all balance sheets accounts.
* Support management in the accurate production of budgets and business plans.
* Preparation of cashflow and ensuring it is utilized properly and protect reserves.
* Audit financial information for inconsistencies and conduct variances analysis and investigate and explain variances.
* Development and producing of relevant key performance indicators.
* Provide tax planning strategies in accordance with existing legislation
* Refresh financial forecasts following completion of monthly management accounts.
* Preparation of monthly projections and annual budgets
* Responsibility for compliance (VAT & Payroll & statutory returns)
* Preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Producing product (service) costings
* Draft statutory accounts for review, submission and filing by auditors.
* Ensure compliance to GDPR.
The person:
* Qualified or part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant
* Proficient in Word and MS Outlook with intermediate to advanced excel ability
* Excellent administration skills, organised and able to prioritise workload
* Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Able to interact and communicate with staff at all levels
* Flexible approach to work.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £27,354.32-£44,440.35 per year
Expected hours: 30 per week
