What You’ll Do:
As a key part of the Portering team, you’ll help deliver an integrated FM service across all University of Greenwich sites. Your day may include:
Moving equipment, resources, materials, and supplies safely and efficiently
Supporting the collection, movement, and delivery of mail across campus
Assisting with deliveries of stock and equipment
Setting up rooms, furniture and equipment for classes, meetings, and events
Helping to prepare spaces and resources for University events and activities
Keeping internal and external areas tidy, safe, and welcoming
Supporting waste collection and removal
Providing friendly, professional customer service at all times
Taking ownership of tasks, understanding client needs, and championing Sodexo values
Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, high-performing team
Following all Health & Safety and COSHH processes
Completing any reasonable ad hoc duties as required

What You Bring:
Customer-focused, friendly, and able to build strong working relationships
A confident communicator who can think on their feet and offer practical solutions
Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive when working alone or as part of a team
Comfortable monitoring performance and using initiative to improve outcomes
Resilient when handling challenging situations
Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Able to support out-of-hours emergencies when needed
Experienced with commercial vehicles, including Luton vans
