Your new role
As an Interim Head of Building Works, you will take strategic and operational responsibility for the upkeep, maintenance, and improvement of the physical estate. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing the historic fabric, modern buildings, infrastructure and major works programmes that keep the college functioning safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
You will lead on the development and delivery of a 10-year rolling programme of works, manage major capital projects, ensure compliance across all building-related activities, and uphold the highest standards of health and safety.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong experience managing complex estates.
* Excellent understanding of compliance, health & safety, and fire safety regulations.
* Confident across contractor management, procurement, and budgetary control.
* Strong leadership skills.
