We have an exciting opportunity for a Caseworker to join the West Midlands team, working 37.5 hours a week, based in our West Bromwich office. Victim Support offers a hybrid working policy, allowing some work from home.

Location: Room 4G, 38 Carters Green, West Bromwich, West Midlands B70 9LG

Type: Full time (37.5 hours)

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday 12pm to 8pm

Salary: £26,830.20 per annum

Contract: Permanent

DBS: Required? No

Police vetting: Enhanced? No

About the role:

This role involves travel across the area, with expenses reimbursed, and is based at our West Bromwich office with hybrid options.

As a Caseworker you will:

* Manage caseloads, delivering services via phone, video, and in person
* Assess needs and risks at initial contact and ongoing
* Develop and monitor safety/support plans for clients
* Provide resources, interventions, and information
* Identify safeguarding concerns and act accordingly
* Collaborate with partners
* Maintain accurate records using a case management system
* Participate in community awareness sessions and events

You will need:

* An understanding of crime's impact
* Effective communication skills
* Experience in service delivery within statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency settings
* Ability to prioritize and work independently and in teams
