The Role:
Adept Resourcing Engineering are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy and well-established engineering business in Rotherham. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of fabrication and welding projects, including pressure vessels, pipework, and general steelwork.
This is a temp to perm role.
Responsibilities:
* Set up, mark out, fabricate, tack and weld jobs as instructed
* Work confidently from engineering drawings, following both written and verbal instructions
* Carry out welding using MIG
* Operate a range of workshop equipment including cranes, band saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, paint spraying tools, and hydraulic testing equipment
* Assemble and finish products to the highest standards in a professional and safe manner
* Pack and label finished products for delivery
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
* On occasion, work on client sites or stay away when required
Requirements:
1. Proven welding/fabrication experience within a workshop environment
2. Competent in MIG
3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
