Digital Transformation Project
We are seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager with a track record of supporting digital transformation initiatives within the NHS. In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology and business change, helping to deliver cloud-based digital solutions aligned with NHS strategy and standards.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation initiatives across NHS departments.
Act as the liaison between clinical, business, and technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of objectives.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, translating clinical/business needs into actionable project plans.
Oversee application migrations and service modernisation efforts, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
Manage project risks, budgets, timelines, and dependencies, ensuring projects stay within scope and on schedule.
Collaborate with Azure architects and developers to ensure solutions meet technical feasibility, security, and compliance standards.
Support change impact assessments, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new digital solutions.
Ensure alignment with NHS Digital guidelines, including data privacy, IG, and interoperability standards (FHIR, SNOMED, etc.).
Oversee testing activities, including UAT and validation in regulated healthcare environments.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in NHS transformation programmes.
Strong leadership in overseeing cross-functional teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and project execution.
Ability to interpret architectural and data flow diagrams and translate them into project roadmaps.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Confluence.
Familiarity with NHS interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), data governance, and IG requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management skills – adept at working with clinicians, vendors, and IT teams to ensure project success.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
Knowledge of NHS Digital initiatives like the NHS App, Shared Care Records, or GDE/FAST programmes.
Agile certifications (Scrum Master/Product Owner) or Project Management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP).
