We support and empower adults with a learning disability, or Older People, to enhance the quality of their life, maximise potential and to continue to promote and develop independence skills within their home. About youAs a Senior Support Worker, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as having proficient IT skills.Experience of working with vulnerable people at work or home will be helpful however more importantly you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to think creatively. You will also have a sensitive and professional approach, showing understanding of confidentiality in and outside the service. You will be able to demonstrate commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion principles and anti-discriminatory practice. A good understanding of equal opportunities, person centred approach and diversity are all essential. Sometimes you will be lone working but will also work as part of the team in group activities.You will have a proficient level of written and spoken English for the purposes of case recording and will hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or related subject. We offer excellent training and development opportunities, you will have the commitment to complete training and qualifications and learn new skills whilst working alongside a supportive team.
