Role Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Admin to support our operations team. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role is vital for ensuring smooth order processing and clear communication with our clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle and process customer orders received via email and phone
* Manage general telephone enquiries and direct calls as needed
* Respond to website and trade enquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Prepare and process commercial documentation, including invoices and dispatch notes
* Perform accurate and efficient data entry to support order and stock management systems
* Support team to do orders picking when in need
Requirements / Qualifications:
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry
* Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
* IT literate, with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Able to manage time independently, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently without constant supervision
* A positive, team-oriented attitude, with a willingness to learn systems and support others
Desired (but not essential) Attributes:
* Previous experience in a pet food, FMCG, or manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with order management systems or CRM tools
* Previous experience in inputting invoices, picking orders and general admin
* Strong prioritization skills and ability to stay focused under pressure
* An interest in animals or pet nutrition is a plus
Additional Information:
* Pay: £12.21/hour for age under 21; £15.0/hour for age 21 and 21+
* Schedule: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
* Location: Office-based
* Start Date: Immediate start preferred
