Claimont Health are looking for individuals who have an upbeat personality and are ready to work as a complex care Health Care Assistant for our client who lives in Halstead. We are looking for passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in the life of our client, working in a supportive, caring environment in a home-based setting. Our client presents with chronic respiratory illnesses. Carers are required to assist with:
* Provide high-quality care to our client who has history of autonomic dysreflexia.
* Be proactive with managing the client's needs.
* Ability to communicate clearly & effectively through verbal & written means.
* Strong interpersonal skills, along with empathy.
* Maintain clear and accurate care observation records.
* Bowel care.
* Catheter (emptying).
* General personal care.
* Moving and handling (wheelchair user).
* Meds management.
* Light household duties.
* Shift times: Morning routine - 08:00 - 10:30 (2.5hrs) (Monday to Sunday)
DBS.
* National insurance number.
* Right to work in UK.
* Previous experience is essential.
* Health and social care relevant training.
* Must be able to drive and have access to their own car to commute to and from the service
