Job Description Job Description: Human Resources Coordinator Reports to: HR Manager Location: On site - Tygervalley, Cape Town Job Summary: This is a hands-on role focused on HR compliance, risk management, and audit readiness within our global People team. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring all HR operations and policies meet legal, regulatory, and internal standards. The successful candidate will support the wider global HR function to maintain and improve compliance across all jurisdictions in which we operate. You must be detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in navigating HR compliance, policies, and ISO standards, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and build trust across all levels of the business. Responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for all HR compliance and risk-related matters across global teams. Maintain and manage HR risk registers, internal audit processes, and ISO certification standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 27001). Lead on the review, development, and implementation of global HR policies and documentation. Provide guidance on legal compliance, risk mitigation, and audit preparation across all regions Conduct and support internal HR investigations in line with best practices and employment law. Deliver clear and timely insights to senior leaders on compliance status, risks, and actions. Ensure all HR processes are audit-ready, consistently reviewed, and continuously improved. Support the development and rollout of internal controls, training, and communications to ensure compliance awareness and adherence across the organisation. Essential: Previous experience in HR compliance, audit, or legal risk management. Sound understanding of employment law and HR best practices. Knowledge and experience working with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 27001 standards. Excellent organisational skills and a methodical, detail-focused approach. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Desirable: Previous experience supporting internal or external HR audits. Experience working within a global HR team or fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level). HR or compliance-related qualification.
