We are looking for an experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead and deliver innovative building services projects across a range of sectors, including healthcare, education,mercial, and public sector developments. This is a senior role thatbines technical expertise with leadership and client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Take ownership of electrical design projects from concept through topletion.
2. Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality design output and technical excellence.
3. Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver fully integrated solutions.
4. Engage with clients on technical andmercial matters, building strong relationships.
5. Contribute to business development and support senior leadership in resource planning.
6. Produce detailed electrical designs using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and calculation tools.
7. Ensurepliance with all relevant standards, legislation, and best practice, including energy efficiency and low-carbon requirements.
What We’re Looking For
8. Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
9. Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it).
10. Minimum 10 years’ experience in building services design, ideally within consultancy.
11. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and associated regulations.
12. Excellent leadership,munication, and project management skills.
13. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time and within budget.
Desirable:
14. Experience in healthcare projects and knowledge of HTMs and HBNs.
15. Membership of professional bodies such as CIBSE or IET.
16. Familiarity with sustainability and net-zero design principles.
