ABOUT THE ROLE
Your main focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Other responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of residents, noting any changes that impact care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervision and supporting staff development.
* Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated appropriately.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed, you will embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability in all that you do.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
* Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
