Receptionist/Activity Coordinator (Part Time)

Ashley Park Care Home, The Street, West Clandon, Guildford, GU4 7SU

Permanent Part Time Contract - 19.5 hours per week.

£12.80 per hour

Shift Pattern: Thursday 8am - 3pm Reception, Saturday and Sunday 8am - 3pm Activities

You’ll help us make health happen by:

1. Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home
2. Taking responsibility for managing new enquiries
3. Providing advice and support both face to face and over the phone
4. Running morning and afternoon activity sessions
5. Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget
6. Organising birthday surprises for our residents
7. Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You’ve worked as a Receptionist before with experience in providing excellent customer service. You'll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. You’re approachable and organised and have the ability to build strong relationships with our residents, their families and internal teams.
