Class 1 HGV Drivers and Milk Tanker Drivers
HGV Class 1 - Salary: £16.00 to £19.30 (Inc Holiday pay)
Tanker - Salary: £17.14 to £20.50 (Inc Holiday pay)
HGV Class 1 - Job type: Temp to perm opportunities, flexible 10-to-12-hour shifts
Tanker - For 1 month (Temp to perm potential)
Expected hours: over 50 hours per week
A personable, family run company are seeking Class 1 HGV drivers to join the team in Preston, Scotland and Carlisle!
HGV Class 1
Providing general haulage, 3 to 4 drops per shift or trunking there are plenty of opportunities for everyone. Working with curtain siders, you can decide whether you want a 10 or 12 hour shift and when you start. Days starting at 6am and nights starting at 6pm.
Once your settled, you will have the opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks with the company.
Tanker
Working days or nights you can choose which time of days suits you best with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. Starting times will be either 0600 or 1800 for a 12-hour shift.
This is Milk Tanker or trunking work for 1 month however there is potential for temp to perm!!
What We Offer HGV Class 1:
Day rate: 16.00 per hour
Night rate: 17.00 per hour
Weekend Day rate: 18.20 per hour
Weekend Night rate: 19.30 per hour
(All pay quoted is inclusive of holiday pay as part of a ‘rolled up’ rate)
What We Offer Tanker:
Day rate: 17.14 per hour
Night rate: 18.49 per hour
Weekend Day rate: 19.38 per hour
Weekend Night rate: 20.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
· Safely drive HGV Class 1 vehicles and complete deliveries within specified time frames.
· Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
· Complete daily checklists and paperwork as required.
· Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
What We Require:
· Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience (essential).
· A valid HGV C&E Class 1 license.
· Must be reliable and flexible with working hours.
