A leading hazardous waste management organisation is seeking a Laboratory Chemist to support operations at its facility in Essex. This role is central to the effective running of the hazardous waste laboratory, supporting waste acceptance, classification, and pricing through high-quality analytical testing and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: Logging, coordinating, and tracking all samples. Performing laboratory analysis using a range of equipment, including XRF, FTIR, photometry, closed cup flash point, and bomb calorimetry. Maintaining laboratory equipment to a high standard and ensuring it is fit for purpose. Testing unknown wastes to support classification, acceptance, and pricing decisions.
