Bakery Team Leader
Are you a seasoned baker with a passion for precision, consistency, and leading a team? We're looking for a Bakery Team Leader to take charge of large-scale baking operations in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment.
The Role
You'll be the technical lead and hands-on expert across all baking processes — from mixing and proofing to baking and quality control. You’ll guide and mentor a team of bakers, ensure consistency across every batch, and keep production running smoothly with industrial baking equipment. This is a brilliant role for someone looking to take that next step up from a ‘Baker’ position.
Key responsibilities include:
* Executing large-batch baking with precision
* Operating and troubleshooting industrial bakery machinery
* Maintaining top-tier quality and food safety standards
* Training and upskilling bakers on techniques and workflows
* Collaborating with production and development teams on new recipes
What You Bring
* 3+ years in a high-volume production bakery
* Deep knowledge of doughs, pastries, and baking science
* Experience with mixers, ovens, proofers and more
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
* Full understanding of food safety and H&S regulations
* Flexibility with early mornings, late finishes, and weekends
