Key Responsibilities: Support students in and out of the classroom to access learning and achieve academic goals. Work closely with the class teacher to prepare learning materials and provide 1:1 or group interventions. Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Requirements: Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting. A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting young learners. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A genuine interest in education and child development. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
