Join our team in London and make an impact where it matters most. As Senior Manager, Government Affairs, you'll lead and deliver third-party advocacy in the UK & Brussels, including the development and execution of high impact engagement campaigns, helping us think ahead as a business and building influential relationships across the region (Europe, Middle East & Africa).

Your Role

You will be a modern communicator and forward-looking leader responsible for monitoring emerging developments for a global coffee brand, representing the business in key regulatory and trade forums, and ensuring proactive positioning in a dynamic external landscape. This is a brand-new opportunity within our expanding team so we're looking for a self-starter, who is also a team player.

What You'll Do

* Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders in the region.
* Represent the business in trade body meetings and industry forums in UK and Brussels and engage with other regional markets as needed.
* Monitor and analyze key regulatory and political developments, providing timely briefings and strategic recommendations.
* Lead coordination of business response to regulatory changes.
* Identify and collaborate with third-parties to support positioning.
* Provide strategic counsel on reputation, stakeholder engagement and message development.
* Partner with Global Government Affairs team on emerging public policy developments and regional ramifications.

What You'll Bring

* Significant experience in public affairs, government relations and/or corporate affairs with UK, Brussels, and ideally Middle East exposure.
* Deep understanding of UK and Brussels regulatory environments and proven experience engaging with government agencies and policy makers in the region.
* Digitally savvy with strong issues monitoring and horizon-scanning capability.
* Ability to translate policy developments into business implications and advise internal stakeholders accordingly.
* Confident in representing initiatives to senior decision-makers within a changing environment.
* Strategic, adaptable and culturally aware.
* Comfortable juggling multiple priorities at speed, with the flexibility to switch between big-picture thinking and hands-on delivery.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
