QHSE Manager
Office-based, Guildford, Surrey (On-Site, Monday–Friday)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, long-serving team within a global supplier of bespoke electrical equipment, where quality and safety are at the heart of everything they do.

What you will be doing
* Managing and improving the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) for health, safety, environment and quality.
* Ensuring compliance with legislation, ISO standards and company policies.
* Working closely with operations, factory and production management to maintain a safe, efficient working environment.
* Leading internal and external audits; reporting on performance at management reviews.
* Conducting inspections, risk assessments and investigations, and driving corrective actions.
* Delivering safety inductions, toolbox talks and targeted training.
* Maintaining awareness of evolving EHSQ regulations and standards.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to staff at all levels, fostering engagement and ownership of safety and quality.
What you will need
* NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) and proven experience as a QHSE / HSEQ / HSE Manager
* Solid understanding of ISO9001, with exposure to ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working closely with operational teams.
* Competent in Microsoft Office and able to manage documentation effectively.
* Practical, approachable, and organised — someone who gains trust quickly.
* Flexibility to travel occasionally to other sites if required.
