Complex Care Assistant – Kendal, Carnforth, Lake District and surrounding areas
Join Alcedo Care as a Complex Care Assistant in the North‑West, including Kendal, Carnforth, the Lake District and surrounding areas.
Salary: £17-£18 per hour, plus Pension and Holiday Pay (rolled up pay rate of £19.62-£20.78). Domiciliary support hours are paid at £16.00-£17.00 plus Pension and Holiday Pay (rolled up rate £18.47-£19.62).
Expected average hours: 20 to 40+ per week. Shifts are flexible where possible, with opportunities for short shifts or 12‑hour shifts days or nights.

Driving Requirement
* Hold a full UK driving licence

Role and Responsibilities
As a people person, you will enjoy meeting and supporting a diverse range of people of all ages. To work with us as a Complex Care Assistant you need at least 3 months of hands‑on care experience in a UK care setting or familial support to ensure confidence and readiness to support clients with more advanced needs.
Your duties will include delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support to individuals with complex health needs, such as spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, neurological disorders and mental health. You will provide specialist care such as PEG, suction and tracheostomy support, assist with medication, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks. Training and competency sign‑off will be provided by our in‑house team of Registered Nurses and training staff.
