Year 2 Teaching Assistant – Liverpool (L9 Area)

Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Primary School in the Liverpool (L9) area. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s early learning journey while enjoying flexible hours that work around you.
You’ll be joining a supportive school community and working alongside an experienced team. Your primary role will be providing 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with ASD, helping them progress both academically and socially within the classroom.
Your Main Duties:
1. Support the inclusion and wellbeing of all pupils in the classroom.
2. Provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with ASD.
3. Assist the class teacher with lessons, planning, and activities.
4. Run fun, engaging catch-up or small group sessions as needed.
5. Help create a warm, positive, and nurturing learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
6. Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting, ideally with SEN experience.
7. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or similar) — or strong relevant experience.
8. A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
9. A team player who can work effectively with the class teacher and wider school staff.
