As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will manage a defined caseload, using evidence-based practice and person-centred care to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in both hospital and community settings. The post holder is expected to develop relevant clinical skills, knowledge and experience without direct supervision.

Duties will vary depending on the specialty.

What we'll need you to bring

* Degree in Occupational Therapy
* Registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC Registration
* Knowledge of application of the theory underpinning OT practice
* The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
* Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Working knowledge of basic information technology
* A full, valid UK / EU / EEA drivers licence

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK / EU / EEA licence.

It would be great if you also have

OT Practice Education course

Further Education and CPD in relation to the post including relevant projects and research studies

Previous voluntary or employment experience or research proposal / project relevant to the post

Clinical experience as per academic requirements

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in Community Mental Health Team within Airdrie Community Health Centre

The working pattern for this role will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
