HPE Aruba Networking - Business Development Intern
Startdate: July 2025
Location: Winnersh
Support to HPE Aruba Networking Business development team.
• Create and execute Power Bi business trackers: Refresh and update Executive Summary Dashboards and send current quarterly numbers to key stakeholders with analysis. Use file to respond to Ad-hoc SMB requests from Distributors and Partners. Track linear performance on sellout to targets vs forecasts and budget.
• Market share and sellout analysis: Utilise Context sellout data and portal to analyse market and ad hoc requests from BDM / Sales teams
• Distributor Data: Provide data for distributors by refreshing and presenting monthly business analysis per partner. Share at monthly distribution meetings with distribution manager. Respond to ad-hoc distributor requests including share, sellout, top selling products.
Pricing
• The BDM intern is responsible for high touch pricing requests; this requires access to the pricing systems to support the business.
• Aged Inventory: Inventory at our distribution partners is critical, keeping this fresh and cleaning it up regularly is critical to keeping the business process running smoothly. Manage monthly aged stock process through analysis of requested sku’s, margin and discounts, and creation of OPG’s. Report on Aged Stock sellout through refreshing Aged Sellout file monthly (after OPG’s have been sent out)
Other activities

• Collaborate with other interns to organise quarterly charity initiatives and events

• Integration with other HPE Aruba interns – cross role systems support for holiday back up.
• Admin – some administration is required/Internal orders – on behalf of Aruba employees, TRF’s - Organise delivery and collection of equipment through collaboration with Goods In
What you’ll need:
1. Potential interns must be in their 2nd year of a four-year degree which requires (or has an option for) 3rd year to be a one year's industrial placement, and are expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 grade
2. You'll have self-motivation to work independently, be confident in your resourcefulness, but aware when you need to ask for help and guidance
3. You will have good time management and organisational skills while being structured in your approach
4. Be prepared to travel when necessary
5. Show creativity in approaching projects and bold in asking questions
6. Team oriented and collaborative mindset.
