Key Objectives:
Deliver high-quality renewable installations on time and within budget
Ensure full compliance with MCS, PAS 2030, and other relevant standards
Drive growth and profitability of the renewables division

Key Responsibilities
Technical & Operational Leadership:
Oversee all Solar PV and ASHP installations across domestic and commercial sites
Ensure installations meet design specifications, safety standards, and client expectations
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination
Implement robust quality assurance and commissioning processes
Compliance & Standards:
Maintain full compliance with MCS, RECC, PAS 2030, and other industry frameworks
Lead audits, inspections, and certification processes
Stay up to date with evolving regulations and ensure team training is current
Team & Resource Management:
Recruit, train, and manage renewable installation teams
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Develop internal talent and succession planning
Commercial & Strategic Growth:
Support tendering, pricing, and commercial strategy for renewable projects
Identify opportunities for innovation and expansion in low-carbon technologies
Collaborate with other departments to integrate renewables into wider retrofit offerings
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the technical lead for client consultations and project delivery
Build strong relationships with suppliers, certifying bodies, and funding partners
Represent the renewables division in strategic meetings and industry forums

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in Solar PV and/or ASHP installations
Proven leadership in renewable energy project delivery, specifically in the Retrofit Market
Familiarity with the MCS process
Strong understanding of building services, electrical systems, and low-carbon technologies
