SummaryThe Senior User Focused Content Strategist is responsible for delivery of user focused content research, planning and strategy workflow for our clients. This includes full responsibility for delivery of defined content audits, competitor analysis, user focused research and creating or briefing content that drives client organic performance, ultimately contributing to the lifetime value of the clients to our business.
Key areas of responsibility
Drive ongoing performance on SEO campaigns by ensuring the most relevant and effective user focused content is created or briefed to the client to create.
Conduct client and competitor site user focused content audits to inform content strategy.
Conduct keyword and topic research to inform user focused content strategy.
Measure and report on success of new content added through our strategy and workflow.
Perform ongoing reviews of clients user focused content performance and discussing any required changes to tactics and practices, as well as reviewing commercial content and feeding back to the Organic Search Team.
Ensure that personal delivery targets are met and work completed to standard and deadline.
Ownership of own client portfolio taking responsibility for their user focused content performance.
Utilise available tools and Google Analytics data to analyse and develop leading strategies for our clients.
Assist in the coaching and development of the wider business following guidance from the Head of Organic Search.
Work with Content Marketing team to integrate our user focused content strategy with content marketing campaigns when possible.
Work closely with the wider Organic Search team to ensure the wider content strategy and user experience is conducive to our clients KPI’s.
Attend client meetings/conference calls when required.
Attend or support with new client pitches and review meetings when needed.
Carry out additional reasonable ad-hoc duties as required by the business.
Continually grow the UFC process, making changes to it where necessary, building new audits, etc.
Train other team members where relevant in UFC processes or tools
Complete Sales work when required, providing keyword research to show potential clients what we can do for them.
Produce relevant documents, such as KCCs, and other bespoke documents when required.
