Role Overview
As a Regional Sales & Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and managing key customer accounts across London and surrounding areas. Your role will focus on increasing revenue, maintaining strong client relationships, and expanding the customer base in line with company targets. This position involves approximately 50/50 split between new business development and account management, primarily within the hotel sector (chains & independents).
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, execute, and report on regional sales activities, meeting volume and margin goals
* Manage contract renewals within your territory, ensuring timely completion
* Proactively generate and qualify new sales leads, sharing opportunities with the wider sales team
* Monitor customer performance against trading terms and take corrective actions as needed
* Provide regular, accurate sales reports to your line manager
* Collaborate with internal teams to monitor customer satisfaction and ensure service level agreements are met
* Maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven B2B sales experience within the food and beverage industry
* Experience selling into the hotel sector is highly advantageous
* Strong understanding of market trends, product positioning, and competitive landscape
* Results-oriented with the ability to develop actionable sales plans from targets
* Confidence in identifying and developing new business opportunities within a designated territory
* Excellent skills in understanding and responding to customer needs with tailored solutions
* Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus
