ESD Recruitment are currently partnering with a valued client delivering a live construction scheme in Islington, North London. We are looking to appoint an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to act as the key link between site teams and local residents throughout the project lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work across London.
The Role
As Resident Liaison Officer, you will ensure clear, professional communication is maintained between the project team and residents. You will play a crucial role in minimising disruption, managing expectations, and maintaining positive community relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for residents
* Issue regular updates via letters, meetings and face-to-face engagement
* Manage and resolve resident queries and complaints effectively
* Keep accurate records of all communications
* Attend site meetings and provide feedback from residents
* Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager
* Ensure programme changes and access requirements are communicated clearly
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within construction, refurbishment or regeneration projects
* Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
* Professional and approachable manner
* Organised with good administrative skills
* Valid CSCS Card (preferred)
* First Aid Certificate (preferred)
* Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
