Nursery Assistant – Location: Hanwell, Ealing, London. Part-time 20-30 hours per week. Contract Type: Permanent. Salary: £12.21 – £12.50 gross per hour (£25,592.16 - £25,675 full-time equivalent salary, 40 hours per week, all year round).

What You’ll Need
Essential:
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
 * Provide outstanding customer service
 * Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
 * A commitment to working within Early Years childcare
Desirable:
 * Previous nursery experience
 * Paediatric First Aid
 * Food Hygiene
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities:
 * Use a friendly approach with parents, carers, children, and colleagues
 * Provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children to learn, play, explore and develop
 * Maintain a homely environment that is clean and organised
 * Implement interesting and inspiring activities for children to learn through play
 * Build relationships with Key Children, recording interests and achievements through observations
 * Understand and follow company Policies and Procedures
 * Safeguarding is a shared responsibility to protect children, parents, and staff
 * Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in line with policy
Other responsibilities:
 * Attend and participate in staff meetings, training, and parent information sessions; including marketing events and activities that may run in evenings or at weekends
 * Treat all personal and sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
 * Undertake other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families

 * ‘Stay and Play’ session to observe you working with children (fully supervised)
