As a Shift Electrician, you’ll be a key player in maintaining and improving a wide variety of electrical systems across a dynamic production site. What You’ll Be Doing: Provide electrical maintenance support across a variety of machinery, including forging presses, furnaces, CNC and manual lathes, millers and borers. Carry out both preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure high machine uptime. Respond to breakdowns efficiently to reduce production downtime. Take part in improvement and installation projects, including upgrades to electrical services. Mentor apprentices and contribute to the future of skilled trades. What You’ll Bring: Apprenticeship-trained or City & Guilds qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Strong understanding of electrical principles and fault finding. Industrial background – ideally from manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industry. Experience working with high-power machinery and site services.
