Job Description
* Responsible for all enquiries and requests for improvements and changes to the financial systems
* Act as the lead Finance team interface with IT colleagues for all significant financial systems issues and enhancement requests
* Manage the Chart of Accounts in the reporting hierarchies of all affected systems
* Ensure that all essential system administration tasks are performed to standard. Act
* as / delegate the roles of Oracle super-user
* Maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the P2P purchase ordering system,
* including supporting system development
* Become the technical lead on Bluebox, offering solutions and guidance on system optimisation.
* Support the Capital Finance team to set up scheme codes, build development scheme reports, implement enhancements to streamline intercompany recharges
* Manage end-user queries and triage / resolve as necessary
* Overseeing the operation of financial systems and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
* Qualified or qualified by experience Accountant
* Strong finance background, understanding core controls and
* accounting
* Experience of the various software applications typically
* used within a finance function
* Experience of developing high quality financial reports
* Ability to build strong and productive relationships with colleagues from outside the Finance function,
* particularly IT colleagues
* Experience of using Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
What's on Offer
* Day rate of £350 - £450
* 6 month assignment possible temporary to permanent opportunity
