About the role:
Teach Now is seeking a passionate and dynamic Sociology Teacher to join the school’s forward-thinking Humanities department from September 2025. This part-time, temporary position offers excellent work-life balance while giving you the opportunity to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Key responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality, inclusive Sociology lessons that spark curiosity and critical thinking
• Support students in developing analytical and evaluative skills
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and innovation
• Foster student well-being, academic progress, and classroom engagement
About you:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in Sociology or a related subject
• Experience teaching across Key Stages 3–5 (preferred)
• A commitment to student-centred, engaging, and reflective teaching practice
